So, when Wolf Creek President and Owner, Brent Ogburn, was invited to visit the Genuine Bauer headquarters in Austria, he embraced the opportunity to learn more about Genuine Bauer’s global manufacturing expertise and explore Austria’s charming culture.
The Bauer Difference: Quality, Innovation, Growth
Headquartered in Voitsberg, Austria, Bauer has over 900 employees worldwide. During his visit, Brent spent time touring the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, which produces a wide range of smart and sustainable products using the highest-quality materials and precise manufacturing systems.
“Bauer’s world-class manufacturing facility was absolutely impressive,” Brent shared. “Watching the massive machinery create the products our customers rely on was a real highlight. The entire facility was impeccably clean and well-organized, demonstrating the high standards of Bauer’s production processes.”
The majority of Bauer’s focus is serving the global agricultural market, particularly irrigation, separator, and slurry machinery. While the Bauer HK quick-couplers are a relatively smaller fraction of their business, we greatly appreciate the quality and innovation their products have brought to the portable piping industry.
Anyone who has used Bauer equipment knows their quality is unmatched. The company strives to complete as much of its products’ fabrication in-house as possible, using carefully selected raw materials and world-class machinery.
But Bauer doesn’t just invest in its manufacturing systems; the company also prioritizes a strong, skilled workforce. In fact, Bauer seeks to empower the next generation by providing vocational training opportunities to local students. Their “Bauer Academy” initiative brings young people from Voitsberg together with Bauer experts to learn hands-on trade skills in small groups.
After a private tour of the company’s manufacturing facility, it’s clear to see why Bauer is the industry leader.

After visiting the Bauer facility in Austria, Brent and his wife, Tiffany, made time to appreciate the country’s history, culture, and cuisine. Highlights of the trip included exploring charming cities, wineries, and of course, the ‘Sound of Music’ tour (Brent’s all-time favorite movie/musical!) featuring breathtaking views of Salzburg.
