A stepbow (or pipe step-down) provides a smooth transition from the pump down to the ground. They’re particularly useful when navigating over terrain such as hills, ditches, or uneven banks leading to a water source.
Our stepbows are available in 4, 6, and 8-inch sizes with Genuine Bauer quick-connect fittings on either end for a reliable, leak-proof connection.
Protect Your Pumps with Floating Tee Strainers
With the introduction of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) or “poly” materials, it’s possible to build portable piping solutions that are easy to repair, resistant to rust and corrosion, and reusable for multiple applications.
At Wolf Creek, we’ve taken the power of poly performance a step further with our PolyBarb products. We use our proprietary patented process (Patent # US 7,025,390 B2) to press and crimp fittings directly into DR17 poly pipe. The result is a secure, reliable connection with a pressure rating of up to 125 PSI.
Our PolyBarb floating tee strainers make it easy to draw water (or other fluids) directly from lakes, ponds, or streams while preventing loose debris such as rocks or sticks from damaging your pumps. These lightweight, t-shaped strainers connect to the suction end of your pump and float on top of a nearby water source, like a lake or retention pond. They’re commonly used in applications such as:
- Golf course irrigation
- Dust control in gravel yards and quarries
- Construction site preparation
- Oil and gas operations
Wolf Creek’s floating tee strainers are built from industrial-grade HDPE materials and available in 4″, 6″, and 8″ sizes with Genuine Bauer connections.
