Recognizing the need for a lightweight, airtight strainer for suction applications using HDPE pipe, we developed our PolyBarb Floating Tee Strainers. These t-shaped strainers connect to the suction end of your pump and float on top of a nearby water source (like a lake or stream). Available in 4, 6, and 8-inch sizes, the Floating Tee Strainer has 2¼-inch holes that prevent debris such as rocks and sticks from flowing through and damaging valuable pump equipment.
Our Floating Tee Strainers are commonly used when pulling water from adjacent water sources for the spray systems used for dust control in quarries and construction job sites, as well as golf course irrigation and agricultural applications.
